Description:
Outstanding opportunities in the fast-paced, massive growth, renewables industry.
Our client is a highly successful, and rapidly growing and evolving, PE-backed business operating in the energy saving and renewables sector. Trusted, repeat relationships have been core to the expansion into new sectors and other renewable solutions, supporting clients in their drive towards carbonisation and net zero.
As a result of this growth and expansion, exciting opportunities leading regional operations teams have been newly created.
Reporting directly to the COO, you will lead and manage regional design, delivery & field engineering & functional management teams (system architects, project managers & electrical installation managers) and have full accountability for all regional projects.
From evaluating engineering requirements, implementing core processes and SOPs to ensuring all strategic mid-term objectives are satisfied, you will support the wider business transformation and operational excellence initiatives that will enable the organisational pivot to large scale complex projects in both commercial and public sector environments.
Your role will be broad but will encompass the following key responsibilities:
* Business Planning - comprehensively develop plans, goals, schedules and resources. Risk identification and mitigation.
* Project Monitoring & Reporting - against milestones and deliverables, addressing and correcting deviations. Presenting reports to stakeholders.
* Budget Management - develop and manage the overhead, revenue and gross margin budgets ensuring full financial adherence and accountability.
* Stakeholder Management – identify and engage key stakeholders, internal and external, communicating progress and addressing concerns.
* Team Leadership – inspire, motivate and maximise team members’ potential by creating a positive working environment with feedback and opportunity.
* Quality Assurance – establish and enforce standards through the project lifecycle.
* Risk Management – identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies and implement as required.
We seek high calibre individuals with significant project management experience acquired within a large construction organisation. Large renewable technologies would be ideal, but we’re realistic; it’s the size and the scale that’s critical.
In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques, including planning, execution, monitoring and closing projects experience is pre-requisite. APM Practitioner, MSP or Prince 2 qualification is highly advantageous.
We want you to be all over the numbers too; strong and detailed on KPI management. And critically, of course, we require strong personal traits. For both roles we seek board-level exposure, a leader, a manager, a relationship-builder with a hands-on approach, a positive can-do attitude and the drive & energy to succeed. Not much of an ask, we know!
Outstanding opportunities we believe, in senior, influential roles in a high growth, successful business at an exciting time in the massive growth, renewables industry.
Largely Berkshire office based, some site, some remote.
If this could be of interest to you, then I’d love to hear from you asap. Thanks!
