Description:
An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join this successful, rapidly growing PE backed Professional Services SME in a newly created, Head of Finance role.

You will report to the CFO and your primary responsibilities will be for be for accounting, reporting, controllership and compliance. Specific areas of responsibility will include the following:

- Monthly accounting, reporting and consolidation
- Ownership of the period end close process
- Oversight of payroll, and corporation tax returns
- Analysis and management of cash and working capital
- Management and development of a small team
- Responsibility for ensuring systems, processes and procedures support business growth
- Finance lead on acquisition integration
- Deputise for CFO in their absence
- Broader support to CFO and FP&A Manager as required

These are just some of the core requirements. This successful business is scaling and this person will play a major part in supporting this. Internal and external stakeholder management, support and analysis to the Board, and investors and the journey towards exit readiness are just some of the additional areas you will got involved in.

We're looking for someone who has considerable experience in most of these core areas. Ideally this will include SME / PE / high growth scaling. Professional Services experience whilst not critical would be useful. Experience working in a multi-currency, multi-geography environment is also important. You must be a fully qualified accountant with strong consolidation and technical (UK GAAP) knowledge.

What's not negotiable is someone who is clearly motivated, proactive in their approach and very strong on the detail. You will need to roll your sleeves up at times and hopefully be excited by our journey.
