Description:
Our client is one of the UK's leading food businesses, supplying the country's major supermarkets and well-known restaurants.
Reporting to the Head of Retail Sales, we seek to recruit a Snr National Account Manager to join the commercial team and take responsibility for overseeing and managing the sales activities for their largest customer (a major UK based retailer)
Working closely with the Insights, Operations, Technical and NPD Teams you will be charged with achieving the company's revenue targets and expanding the business with this pivotal account.
In summary, your key responsibilities will include:
* Account Management (you'll be the primary contact, therefore critical to further developing our customer partnership)
* Sales strategy development
* Revenue growth
* Sales reporting & analysis
* Market research & competitive intelligence
We seek 5+ years' of experience in account management or national sales roles with a proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets, ideally in an own-label environment. Strong negotiation, relationship building skills with a customer focused mindset are key. Of course they are! And we require a problem-solving, strategic thinker. All par for the course.
Hybrid role, predominantly based in our West Midlands site, with an opportunity to work from home mixed with the necessity to travel to our customer further south.
